Monday weather: dry with sunny spells, then a risk of frost and fog

The Met Office’s early-morning regional forecast expects a dry Monday, with the best sunshine in southern areas and during the afternoon.

Northern Ireland is forecast to have a dry day on Monday 2 November, with bright or sunny periods most favoured in southern districts and during the afternoon.

The Met Office’s regional forecast, updated at 4am on Monday, gives a maximum temperature of 12°C and light winds mainly from the north or north-west.

Clear spells and light winds overnight bring a risk of rural frost and fog patches towards dawn, with a regional minimum of 1°C. Tuesday is forecast to start with extensive mist and fog in places, gradually clearing for a dry, sunny afternoon.

These are regional forecast conditions, rather than observations at every location. The official place forecasts give the latest local detail.
