Old Holywood Road closed; overnight Foyle Bridge restrictions planned
TrafficWatchNI reports a collision closure in east Belfast and separate overnight works in Derry.
Old Holywood Road in east Belfast is closed in both directions near Knocknagoney Avenue following a collision, according to TrafficWatchNI’s 5.46pm bulletin on Tuesday 3 November. Diversions are in place and delays are expected; no reopening time is provided.
Separately, a Foyle Bridge lane closure with diversion measures is planned from Caw Roundabout towards Culmore Roundabout between 10pm on Tuesday and 3am on Wednesday 4 November.
The works involve resetting a manhole and road-surface patching. The listed diversion uses Clooney Road, Limavady Road, Kings Street, Waterside Link, Duke Street and Craigavon Bridge Upper.
Drivers should follow the signed diversion and check the latest official traffic information before travelling. The Foyle arrangements are scheduled works, rather than confirmation that the restriction has already begun.
